Privacy Policy
This policy explains how NAJM PLAYER processes information when you use the Samsung Tizen application and the related device-licensing portal. We aim to collect only the information needed to authenticate your media account, provide playback, remember your app state, manage the app license, and support your TV.
Information we process
- Account credentials: the username and password you enter for a compatible media service. They are used for authentication and service access.
- NAJM device identifier: a random 11-digit support ID generated by the app and stored on the TV. New NAJM IDs are not derived from the TV serial number, MAC address, or Samsung DUID.
- Compatibility information: TV manufacturer/model, Tizen/platform version, and NAJM PLAYER version/build for compatibility, licensing, and support.
- Local app data: favourites, recent/watch progress, interface settings, active playlist information, and cached catalogue/logo data used to restore your state and improve performance.
- Technical request information: when the app or portal connects to our service, the server or its hosting/security infrastructure may receive ordinary network information such as IP address, request time, and basic request metadata needed to deliver and protect the service.
How we use information
- Authenticate the media account you choose to use.
- Load Live, Movie, and Series catalogue data and provide playback.
- Register the TV with NAJM services and verify trial/license status.
- Maintain compatibility, security, troubleshooting, and customer support.
- Restore local preferences, favourites, and viewing progress on the TV.
Direct Xtream mode
If you choose Direct Xtream, the host, username, and password you provide are used to authenticate with that provider. For Tizen compatibility, authentication and catalogue/API requests may be relayed through NAJM infrastructure over HTTPS and then forwarded to the host you entered. Media playback is directed to the provider host selected by you.
Local storage and credential protection
Saved account credentials are encrypted before persistent storage on the TV using AES-GCM. The app is designed to keep passwords out of normal UI state and logs. Catalogue records are stored without persistent credential-bearing playback URLs where supported. Local favourites, settings, history/progress, and cache data are stored on the TV for app functionality.
Device licensing and the portal
The 11-digit NAJM Device ID is used for device registration and trial/license verification. Device-specific portal links use a random portal token rather than placing the Device ID in the URL. The public portal does not display or request your IPTV username or password.
Sharing and service providers
We do not sell personal information and the TV client does not use account credentials for advertising. Information may be disclosed only as needed to:
- the media service/provider that you configure, so it can authenticate your account and deliver catalogue/media services;
- hosting, network, and security providers used to operate and protect NAJM services;
- authorities or other parties when disclosure is required by applicable law or is necessary to protect the service and users.
Where information is processed
NAJM-controlled information is processed using the hosting and network infrastructure that operates the NAJM service. In Direct Xtream mode, information is also processed by the media provider host that you choose, and that provider's processing location is determined by that provider. Retention
Local account-bound data remains on the TV until you sign out, remove the playlist/account, clear the app data, or uninstall the app. Server-side device, licensing, security, and support records are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain licensing and security, handle support, resolve disputes, and meet applicable legal obligations, after which they are deleted or anonymized when appropriate.
Your choices and deletion requests
You can sign out or remove an account/playlist in NAJM PLAYER to remove the related local account data from the TV. You may also request access, correction, or deletion of NAJM-controlled server-side data by emailing iinajm19999@gmail.com. Please include your 11-digit NAJM Device ID when relevant, but do not send your IPTV password by email.
Children
NAJM PLAYER is a general media-player application and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children independently of the account/service configured by the user. Parents and guardians should supervise use where required by local law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app, service, or legal requirements change. The latest public version is published on this page with its update date.
